Salt and Pepper Flax Crackers

- 2 cups flaxseed meal
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon large flake sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper, coarsely ground
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients except large flake sea salt and coarsely ground black pepper. Add water and mix until an even dough forms.
- Spread onto the prepared baking sheets and flatten to ⅛-inch thickness. Cut into 1½-inch squares then sprinkle evenly with large flake sea salt and coarsely ground black pepper.
- Bake until crisp and the edges are browned, about 25 – 30 minutes. Let cool completely before dividing and serving. Yields 10 servings.
