Pickled String Beans

• ¼ pound string beans
• 2 cups water
• 2 cups vinegar
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 tablespoons whole cloves
• 2 tablespoons whole allspice

1. Cook beans until almost done then put in jars hot.
2. Bring to boil the remaining ingredients, pour over beans and seal.
