Crème Chantilly (Sweetened Whipped Cream)

Vegetarian yields2½ – 3 cups addedDecember 2019
- 1 cup whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 – 3 tablespoons sifted confectioners’ sugar
- Whip cream until stiff.
- Fold in vanilla and sifted confectioners’ sugar.
Tips
- Variation: add ½ cup walnuts, pecans, pistachios, hazelnuts, or almonds.
- Variation: add ½ cup lightly toasted coconut.
- Variation: add ½ cup jam or marmalade.
- Variation: add ¾ cup fruit puree.
- Variation: add teaspoon instant coffee.
