Chocolate Pecan Pie

Favorite Personal Vegetarian

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Brown pie shell for 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Reduce oven heat to 350°F.
  4. Cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in one egg at a time.
  5. Add salt, molasses, vanilla, rum or brandy, chocolate chips and pecans.
  6. Fill the shell.
  7. Bake the pies for about 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the filling comes out clean.
