Chai Tea

- 3 cups water
- 2 tea bags of Orange Pekoe Tea (only Indian tea with the strength required)
- 10 cardamom pods (crushed optional)
- 8 cloves
- ¼ teaspoon fennel seed
- sugar to taste
- (optional) cinnamon sticks
- (optional) ginger
- 4 cups milk
- Combine all ingredients except for the milk.
- Cook uncovered for approximately 10 minutes until the liquid has reduced by one cup.
- Add milk and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, then strain before serving.
