Baked Ziti

Italian Vegetarian

  1. Cook ziti according to package directions.
  2. Return ziti to cooking pan and stir in mixture of ricotta, mozzarella, salt, pepper, garlic powder and egg with 1½ cups of spaghetti sauce.
  3. Pour into 2½ to 3 quart shallow baking dish into which ½ cup of spaghetti sauce has been spread.
  4. Top with remaining sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with Romano cheese.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and top lightly browned.
  7. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. You may want to have more sauce when serving.
