Click2learn.com e-Learning Network

In 1984, Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen founded a new company-- Asymetrix Learning Systems--that specialized in authoring tools and learning management products. Shortly after acquiring Meliora Systems (my previous employer), Asymetrix decided to combine Meliora and Asymetrix’s expertise in Learning Management Systems and reinvent themselves to become part of Paul Allen’s new vision for a “wired world”.

In the Fall of 1999, Asymetrix was renamed “click2learn.com” and introduced its strategy to move its Learning product to an Portal/ASP (Application Service Provider) model.

Although I still oversee the Ingenium family of products, I have become increasingly more involved with contributing to the learning management features and direction of the new click2learn.com initiative.
