Silverlight E-Learning Player
In 2009, I joined the team that is responsible for training the 40,000 Microsoft employees that work in Sales, Marketing and Services. Our department develops more than 400 courses a year.
The template that we use for online-training is extremely powerful and includes full SCORM 1.2 support, adaptive testing and offline playback. While it’s extremely functional, it looks like a fairly traditional HTML-based course.
One of my first tasks as Learning Architect was to convert our existing course player into a new, more modern looking Silverlight experience while preserving the rich functionality.
